It's a system where we get to applaud people for doing good things and smite people for doing bad things. Higher karma is better, lower karma is worse. You currently have negative karma, which means somebody doesn't like you and/or your mannerisms. If I were you, I'd look over my posts and see what I could have done to offend someone.
