Lexi do you have any recommendations for good sites/guides/etc. for improving drawing/painting? I've got way too much free time on my hands and I'd like to improve one of the above.
As Deco said; Loomis is the shit. Lots of read, but you'll learn all the shit you need to.

[DA tuts]Just type in the search bar what you're lookin' to draw. There's a lot of shit to sort though, but sometimes people submit some pretty good stuff.
But it's mostly about practice and observation. The better you get at seeing the better you'll be able to draw.

Although it's supposed to be about furries, it's GREAT because it has guides on some important stuff like perspective, anatomy, muscle/skeletal structure, and other great stuff. It's basically a guide on how to draw humans and how to draw animals, then how to combine them, but it's worth a read even if you're not drawing furries.
You'll also want to practice drawing the human form a lot. For that, you'll need references:
Posemaniacs - A site that has hundreds of 3D models in different poses, all of which you can rotate.
Characterdesigns - A site that has a bunch of model shoots, both male and female, all photographs
DeviantArt - DA again. And again, there's a lot of shit to sort through, but there's good stuff hiding somewhere in that godawful site.
Chansluts - Cam whores and sluts. Girls posting pictures of themselves for attention. You can get tons of pictures of girls in different poses, a lot of which are nude (whether you like it or not). There's also a male section if you're into that sort of thing. If you don't like that, there's always porn video of references.
Start fucking running.
Seriously, people who don't do it are like this, they don't know sex exists, I am saying this because a half an hour run feels better than sex, and doesn't require cuddling afterwards. After pushing yourself for half an hour your body will turn into a paradise of flowing liquid gold and the endorphins will massage your brain into a blissful submission.
